The install: about an hour
Removing the old windshield, prepping the pinch weld, laying fresh urethane, and setting the new glass typically takes 45 to 60 minutes. If your vehicle needs ADAS camera recalibration, add some time for that — but we do it on-site so it's one appointment, not two.
The wait: safe drive-away time
After the install you wait for the adhesive to cure enough to be crash-safe — the safe drive-away time, usually another 30 to 60 minutes and a bit longer on a cold, damp Delaware day. So plan on roughly two hours total, most of which you can spend working or relaxing while we handle it in your driveway.
Mobile means it fits your day
Because we come to your home or office anywhere in New Castle County, the "how long" barely touches your schedule — no shop trip, no waiting room. Book a mobile replacement and keep working while the glass sets.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get it done on my lunch break?
The install is about an hour, but you'll want to respect the safe drive-away time before driving — so plan closer to two hours, or let us do it at your office while you work.
Does recalibration add much time?
Some — but we perform it on-site as part of the same appointment, so you're not making a second trip elsewhere.
