On glass tiers, plainly

OEM glass is the most oversold decision in this trade. It genuinely matters for heads-up display, acoustic laminated glass, difficult camera calibration and lease returns. For most mainstream vehicles a few years old, quality dealer-equivalent glass performs identically for meaningfully less, and we will say so rather than let you pay for a badge. The install matters far more than the tier — a careful fit on OEE is a safer car than a rushed one on OEM.
